Because he has been the better goalie over like ten games.
A few decent starts yes, but people were really on his jock about being the #1 again after beating the worst offensive team in the league, Detroit Red Wings, while ignoring he was still not as good as he should be.

Which is why I would have went Jarry for this and then Murray for the Flyers.

Gotta love this NBC goaltender breakdown. About as fun as being down 2-0 2 minutes into the game.

Wagner literally grabbed Agozzino around the neck and yanked him to the ice 20 seconds after he touched the puck and the ref watched it the whole time.

That shouldn't matter because Murray played so recently. Jarry should have started today because he was the more fresh goalie.

With two equal goalies, you should be playing the more fresh goalie. To me, Jarry should have gone today and Murray should have gone on Tuesday.

I am one of #30's biggest fans. He wasn't confident enough for this game. He was building it. Now we are right back to square one with the big guy. What a ****ing disaster. This was avoidable by our coaches. This was completely avoidable.

They were so hell bent on rushing Murray as the starter. This is 100% coaching. You don't build confidence in 1 game. You build it over time.

1st was gettable the 2nd was easy. That’s 100% on Murray.

I did wonder why Sullivan decided to start Murray tonight when he played 36 hours ago. It wasn't him playing "back to back", but it's basically as close as you can get to "back to back" without being that.
jarry is cooling and he was hoping Maurray was getting better again like last year. But damn, nope Murray is sucking.

We have the all star break coming up and before/after that none of our opponents are cupcakes. Unless you dont want him playing until the middle of February

3-0 with a 1.95 GAA and .932 save% in January. Don't bother watching, we don't need fair weather fans like you in our fan base.

I am sure you said the same crap last year when Rust had a bad first half. You most likely wanted him gone like half this board who wanted to trade him for nothing as a cap dump.

Maybe Murray craps the bed today but Sullivan made the right choice after Jarry being average at best in his last 5 starts.

One day internet sarcasm will be more easily discernible.
