Found this when looking up Hallander on twitter, he was an absolutely dominant possession player that made all of his teammates much better in the regular season. Definitely meshes with what he was projected to be when drafted, really hoping that can pan out in the NHL.

He is more comfortable with his play and NHL future. I liked his upside years ago and keep in mind, all those thinking the younger players are ready to make things happen, They aren't as ready as many think. It takes time for players to grow, mature, work on issues ect. But he does bring an element as a flexible winger who can play up and down the lineup.

I'm not a McCann truther, but it'd really just be a stroke of luck, not anything done purposefully or with a plan. No one would deserve credit.

He had a breakaway for three quarters of the rink in one of the playoff games I watched and he just missed it five hole. But he isn't really a space guy. He hangs around the net and grinds for scraps. I'd say that it's good that he has a B game, but I think he's basically all B game haha

He basically just seems like a Drew O’Connor replacement, but that’s still useful to have in the short term and then they can flip him as a rental in 2 years for a decent prospect.

If he can bring the same stuff that Dewar has brought, I’ll be happy. This team needs more guys like Dewar and fewer guys like Heinen and Hayes.

DOC might be pushing it, but I'd be happy with that. I look at him as improvement (young legs) on Nieto (or what Nieto meant to be)...which, as you sort of wink at, is Dewar...in other words, if this is a semi-net-positive 4th line winger, it's good enough for me.

He was finally starting to come into maybe being an NHL-capable player towards the end of his final WBS season. It's a shame he went back to Sweden, though maybe that was also good for his development.
