The fact that we exposed him shows just how out of reality Mario & co. really are. I"m glad though. The Vegas team on paper was objectively better than what Seattle has right now because of the moronic side deals that Vegas made.

So unless Seattle has a bunch of side deals to announce at the end of the draft, they're looking way worse than Vegas did.

Seattle's not trying to be Vegas, imo. They'd have picked far differently if they were gunning to put together the best possible group. They picked to try and get wins with the Isles bend but don't break style while making sure they had a ton of cap room to either chase a big name in FA or take on other teams' awful contracts for a boon of 1sts/2nds/prospects.

They built a solid team right from the get go by using their leverage of taking someone teams wanted to keep and dealing with them. I'm sure we might see some extra deals tomorrow when the dust settles with some trading back players or using the kraken as proxy.

Some haven't shown enough to even be worthy a discussion. Also Hakstol as the coach is not exuding confidence mate. We saw what he did in Philly with some decent talent. Now he has barely any.
