True story...

I was offered tickets to the game against the Flames where he scored his 500th. The guy was always sarcastic, so I laughed him off. Except this one f***ing time he was serious and he gave them to another friend instead.

Fortunately it ended up that I had a wedding to go to on that night and so couldn't make the game anyways, but still...
