Kovacevic is a damn good player and whether it’s with us or another team, he’s carved out an NHL role. Really happy with the way he’s played. Underlyings have always been there but he’s legit.

Ship palat out. Gritysuk, 3/4C in like Jake Evans in. Haula down to line 4 (or 3LW with Cotter on 4)

If someone offers an actual quality trade for dougie you consider it. Probably hold palat at that point (unless he's cheap to dump), get a veteran 7D, and grab a more future thinking goalie with the extra money.

I wonder how much Vejmelka costs in UFA.

I’m fine with not having a “goal scorer” with them. The mold of Palat is what I want. He’s just not good anymore. Like Palat from a decade ago would be perfect. If only we had 2 Noesen’s. I want him playing with both top 6 pairs
