I already know this isn't going to "turn the team around." It's too late for that (at least insofar as this era).

But like... surely we can't be the only ones completely tired of watching this nightmare-on-repeat every night? Trotting out the same old tired bullshit unchanging and unwavering for years only to have your nose shoved in it every night? And it's not even EXCITING losses. I can take the losing these days I just don't want to have to sit through two+ hours of the hockey equivalent of the Ludovico technique every game.

We aren't privy to all the battles and heated conversations in the background between all parties involved.

I'm sure FSG shows Dubas the reduced revenues due to lower ticket sales this year with the message "we hired to you fix this, so fix it".

Regardless whatever everybody thinks of Dubas, he does come off as an exec capable of playing the game.
