If he lets in a third goal this game I would absolutely pull him. He's swimming/flopping all over the crease and playing way more aggressive than he needs to. A calming net presence in Jones might settle the defense.

The guy is gonna benefit from an offseason of rest and recovery then conditioning and coaching. He's spastic this series as he was in 10 and 11. He reined in the spazzing in 12 and 13 but it's back.

Agreed, he's a very good goalie, he just needs to make much better decisions. You can't be aggressive all the time.


And if he does let in another, I'd put Jones in. He's just not gonna steal or bail anyone this series.

Getting dominated like this obviously sucks. But I won't miss hearing that stupid crap.

Some on this team needed to be humbled like this. Hopefully things change next season.

He's not going to get the chance. But he needs a few days with the goalie coach. Guy seems to lose his plot sometimes.

This isn't the first time he was complimented his useless play with dumb penalties.

But he always finds his way back into the lineup. Knowing Sutter he will use Clifford as the extra attacker if we are down in the final minute.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a fan, and he's a great goalie, but everyone has chinks in the armor and the more he knows about it the more likely he is to tweak it and improve (though I admit the chance is very small).
