Ugly ass hertl

How anyone can watch this series and the Chicago series last year and want to stand pat next season is beyond me.

Kings defense is just not good against high end teams. Last two series the Kings have had leads and lost four times (games 1&4 vs. Chi and games 2&3 vs. SJ.) And now tonight they have squandered another lead.

I believe during the cup run the Kings only lost one game where they had the lead (game 4 vs. Vancouver)

Regent is so freaking slow. He can't be counted on in playoff. The guy is a big time liability.
Too bad we just signed him for a couple more years.

Garbage coverage and unforced turnover in our own end led to that, but when you're getting puck luck like the Sharks have, the other team is ****ed no matter what. Christ.

Yep. Pearson dumped it in then it looked like Kopitar turned it over as he got it and SJ took off. Looked like the team was changing again as the sharks brought it into the zone.

Given the Kings generally have terrible 2nd periods, giving up that goal at the end of the period was a gut punch supreme.

Line changes have been terrible all series.

I hope I didn't see Sutter bingoing the lines towards the end for no reason.

I don't know, I'd say he's a cutie, even if he's wearing a Sharks uniform. Course, after seeing that photo he tweeted of him and his senior citizen buddies in swim class, I may be biased.

I can't hate Hertl. He could even pull a Thornton and spin across our logo and I'd just go daww what a cute fuzzy little sniper.

I don't think I've seen anyone say we should stand pat. There's just no need to jettison half the roster. An early exit and a long offseason is probably exactly what some of these guys need.
