  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.

God, I’m working during tonight’s game and it’s going to be awful. My nerves will kill me since I can’t be attached to my phone.
This has happened a lot to me this year. Before this year I have never been able to record a sporting event and not look up the score. But with how often I'd be working nights i figured I'd give it a try and if you can have the self control to not check the score or social media it's actually kinda nice. Tonight I'll get home from work around 10pm, make a rum and coke, and enjoy the game as if it were live, just with no commercials or intermissions lol

I can't even handle that, this instant gratification world we live in haha I must know now.

I'm gonna have my phone giving me updates throughout the game so I can be a nervous wreck as I work because I refuse to pay $25 a month for the ability to stream to my phone after tasting the sweet nectar of free streaming at home. Though if we make the cups finals I'll pay. Had to add that just in case any NHL officials are browsing the forums and wanna increase their sales. ;)

I'm going to the game tonight; it's the 4th year I'm going to be at home game 1, dating back to the 2014 playoffs.

For whatever reason, this one has me just a little extra pumped.

I realize this series is far from over, but a win tonight would be very, very ideal to keep up with our likely opponent in the Pacific Division Finals (if we advance to it).

GO SHARKS!!!!!

I've tried to DVR sporting events, and I just can't avoid spoilers/not look.

Man, I wish I could do that. But I honestly have never been able to watch sports not live unless I already knew the score and was watching it for a different reason (for example, I recorded/watched Marleau’s first game back in SJ earlier this season even though I followed the score live). I just can’t not score-watch, especially if it’s the playoffs.

Oh, I'm not surprised, either. I just thought I'd bring it up.

I was watching the highlights the other day and they showed everything but the Sharks vs Ducks. Its because they don't finish until 1am eastern time and the east rules or something?

I didn't watch the double overtime Vegas/Kings game, but one of my friends watched some of it. He said that it was 2am, and the game was still in the first overtime. The game must have ended around 3am Eastern. I bet they showed highlights from that game.
