In person seems like Sharks came out strong, but Ducks had all the hop by about halfway through the period. Our 4th line was our best, which is no bueno in the playoffs. Hope they can find another gear coming out next period.

Was the same on TV as well

Karlsson on radio intermission interview:

- felt great, whole team is going hard out there, we got a lot of chances, we got one [goal], now we want more
- [on his line's success] just get inside first on the forecheck, get the puck back, get it to the net
- [on the Ducks' D slowing the game down] maybe they wanna go a little slower but we wanna go fast
- [adjustments for 2nd period?] I think we played pretty good, keep going, get the puck behind them, they're pinching a lot, get a guy going on it, we're gonna spend more time in their zone

Martin on TV intermission interview:

- we knew they were gonna come out desperate, we wanted to make a statement in our own barn, fans are great, for us it's get pucks in deep, work down low
- I think we wanna utilize the support we have, get it through the neutral zone and in deep, it takes everybody
- I think Pickles and Brauner are taking that top line and it's up to us four to mix and match with the other lines
