So impressed with this guy

His 3 zone defensive game as a center has really blossomed

I like to watch something within the game - usually it’s an opposing player or how they set up on a power play and use personnel on it - however, been watching Zacha at the game and he’s really good

He is super responsible and he clearly picked up a lot from Bergeron & Krejci

I agree, I think he is greatly underrated around here, my only complaint is his shot accuracy, but he is a player.

What he's good at I don't see - that's my fault not his. I was the same with krejci. He'd have the quietest 2 and 3 point nights where I'd barely notice him impact the game.

I can't believe how snakebit he is around the goal for the number of chances he gets per game. Hopefully as his overall game matures he will find the back of the net with more consistency.
My issues with him, and more than half the team, is how often they miss the net when shooting. Just put the puck on net and anything can happen. Miss the net, and more times than not, the other team is moving the puck out of the zone.

We always hear, how someone, needs to work on getting stronger, or skating with a power skater off season, I wish we could get someone to work with Zacha's shot accuracy, he would complete...... just a thought

Pretty much everything - good vision, strong defensive player, responsible, good hands

No idea what Sacco thinks of him but I love him with Pastrnak - he sacrifices offense for better of team

Really evolved

Zacha's "details" are definitely the best among Bruin forwards. He's been a very strong 200-foot player for us from day one. He's also really consistent--how often do we say that Zacha had a poor game? Compare with all of the game threads in which it is said that Marchand/McAvoy/Pasta/Coyle/E. Lindholm are "off".

He's underrated here in the sense that people don't realize how similar he is to Bergeron. He's not nearly as good at puck battles or on the power play, but otherwise they play the game same way.

I could be totally wrong but I remember as a rookie or at the draft or something he said something about Bergy being his favorite player or who he sees himself like style wise. Pretty sure he wore #37 as well.

Nobody is any where near Bergeron in this organization. If barkov was a bruin maybe.

Bergeron rookie season he was one of the best wall players in the league and very physical

There was a game against Rangers on the road in 2003 when a thought, this is crazy but Bergeron seems better then Thornton (who was also in the game)

Zacha is solid his defensive game is above average and he realizes he’s playing with 2 wingers who can really shoot the puck

Excellent donny ! the maestro hits another homerun. Haula for zacha was a fleece job and now in black and gold for another 4 years.
From Boston Globe 2/1 Jim McBride

A reliable 200-foot player, Zacha is a creative passer and diligent checker through the neutral zone and his own end.

“I think that [he] flies under the radar. I think that you don’t realize how much work that takes when you’re playing that 200-foot game,’’ Bruins coach Joe Sacco said of Zacha. “Especially in our system, the way we play, you rely a lot on your centermen to do a lot of the work down low and that frees up David and [Morgan Geekie] to do their thing a little bit more offensively, especially David. So, there’s a lot of work that goes in there for Pav, and like I said, it goes unnoticed at times. Not by us as a staff, but probably unnoticed by people who don’t see it, like we do, on a daily basis.’’

148 points in 214 games, good defensively & can play wing & centre. Love his cap hit too. He's not untouchable but I wouldn't deal him unless its a clear overpayment.
