For the simple fact we don't have to trade them at the current time... yes.

Both players have over a year left on their contracts and are both playing at the top of our lineup And would create large holes in our lineup that can not be immediately filled. Unless we are getting a payment that is absolutely worth it we are not in a rush to move them.

If you don't like the price shop somewhere else. We are completely happy holding onto our players.

Parayko gets 1st and edvidson.

Parayko is a first line rhd with size and skates better them most dmen. His shot hits 103 plus and he is an amazing shut down dman. He has 4 + years left.

What would the blues want for a blockbuster trade of Parayko (2 million retained) and Buchnevic @ 100%? Obviously parayko is signed until 36 and will decline eventually.

This gives the wings a top line winger and a solid 2nd pairing RHD who’s massive behind seider

First and foremost he is a 30 who averages 24:50 toi a night against teams best lines. He is a number #1 rhd on this team and is paid like one. Just because the norris goes to most points doesnt make them best defender.

This thread and others have mostly been pretty good. Buchnevich is going to garner a lot. Parayko isnt on the table. Neither is robert thomas. Those two would break the bank. Buchy is an amazing player. I honestly would like to resign him for 4 more years

Okay but what defensive metrics can you point to that puts Parayko in the upper echelon of the league? He's not up there in entry denials, or dzone retrievals, and his zone exits are a mixed bag as well. Parayko doesn't really do anything at the level of a Norris defenseman other than be on the ice.

Still don't think a Buchnevich trade is likely unless a team makes an overwhelming offer, but Buchnevich for 2 playoffs at his cap hit is great value.

He meant that if Guentzel is injured, that might hurt his tradevalue or prevent him from being traded at all. If that happens Buch' value could rise.
