Has really turned himself into an all around contributer. No he's not the ideal player you'd want on a good first line, but once Laf and Kakko take the next steps he could be a killer secondary threat. That's if they decide to re-sign him of course

IIRC, Duclair was number 1, or close to it, after he had that amazing D+1 year and I think JT Miller surpassed the GP requirement for prospect status. Hayes and Skjei were on there too, followed by a bunch of forgettable players.

Believe it or not, most of the guys from that first list have played in the nhl for an extended period of time. But I remember it was a 2 horse race with buch and duclair until the later was traded for yandle. Everyone said buch would be the more complete player. They weren’t wrong
