Beginning of the year, I was like Buch on the PK? That will be a spectacular failure. Wrong. In fact I feel like the effort needed to be successful on the PK he has kept in other areas of his game. If he can keep shooting when necessary vs the overpassing Buch there should be no one mad with his play. He has been a bright point in a mostly dark shit season.

Has really turned himself into an all around contributer. No he's not the ideal player you'd want on a good first line, but once Laf and Kakko take the next steps he could be a killer secondary threat. That's if they decide to re-sign him of course

how much is he gonna cost ? Oh boy

Buchnevich coming into his own as an all around player right as the Rangers are gonna have to trade him is just peak Rangers

If we can maximize his value in a trade that's not such a terrible thing. With all the money tied up or soon to be tied up in wingers he still seems like the odd man out.

That's what you want to happen to an asset (opposed to after trading). I love Buchnevich and successful teams need players like him, but he might end up being the 'Loui Eriksson' part of a very good trade.

I would love to see the 2014 or 2015 HF NYR prospect rankings
Steven Fogarty is still #1 in my heart, damn it.

IIRC, Duclair was number 1, or close to it, after he had that amazing D+1 year and I think JT Miller surpassed the GP requirement for prospect status. Hayes and Skjei were on there too, followed by a bunch of forgettable players.
