I think maybe 20 goals this season, 40 games. Guys who play like him and have sustained many injuries usually their average season. He's a piece of glass. He's similar to Dach, has that slow reaction time to checks/hits.

People seem to be focusing on his points but I think what he will really bring is leadership to the team. Suzuki is great but with someone like Laine he is gonna command some respect and bring a little more age to the group even if he is only 26.

The fact that he can transition from inside to outside edges pretty seamlessly is promising - physio will keep focusing on strengthening the muscle around ligament & time will connect strands

Excellent news for the guy, mentally this is probably going to do wonders for him. You still want to be real careful not to rush things obviously, but there's light at the end of the tunnel and he can already see it.

Well, if he can play enough to shake off the rust by mid-january, we should have big enough sample to properly evaluate him in the 2nd half of the season.
