I’ll take « fallen off a cliff » ppg players over the « height of his career giving his all » players habs have been icing any day.

I don’t find pleasure at all watching after the 1st line these days, and face palm at special teams… Really looking forward to the next few seasons, even if this guy bombs it can literally not get worse.

Well,

Laine certainly had its deep low. Lower than the other 3, indeed.

But the high is also extremely high and higher than the other 3.

But yes, it is futile to predict anything because the possible outcome goes from an extreme to another with the possibility too of the in-between.

I have never seen a habs team with this much forward depth and that is WITHOUT demidov, Hage and or other prospects in the mix! It's actually shocking how this team has been built so quickly and by giving up so little.

If Laine comes motivated, I see him easily putting up 30g thanks to PP. Slaf and Nick will be feeding those tight seam passes to one of the best snipers in the league. If Hutson makes the nhl ready to make an impact, that is one more player feeding Laine.....DROOOL.

It's not only the way Laine shoots the puck, it's also his pass receptions are insanely efficient. Cole is great, but his transition from pass reception to shot is so much slower than Laine's....and Caufield is already amazing at it.
