I would be very surprised if he leaves Detroit, he and his family seem to really enjoy it and are so close with the Debrincat family. His father also can easily get to games. Not 100% but feels like something significant would have to change in the thought process.

They involve Debrincat’s and Kane’s kid in game days at this point in terms of fist bumps on the way to the ice.

I could see Toronto depending on the changes they make. Outside of that I really don’t think there are any other players.

Are he and Toews close? Or just teammates?

I could see them going to Toronto together.

Kane could be a budget Marner.
Toews could come and be a 3c. That’s what they need.
