Actually, Rinne has 61 more wins than Rask.
His save percentage and gaa are better as are his post season stats. Tuukka also won a cup and went to the finals 2 other times. Rinne has no cups and 1 Finals series. Also, Tuukka put up solid numbers when he backed up Thomas and ultimately took the starting job from him.

Bottom line is their stats are incredibly close and if Rinne is getting in then Tuukka should also be in.

<<Lapointe felt an immediate connection with Bergeron. A native Quebecois himself, Lapointe acknowledged he had a bad experience during his first training camp in Detroit. A veteran Red Wings player, also from Quebec, refused to help Lapointe acclimate.>>

Always wondered who Lapointe was speaking of. Vincent Riendeau, Bobby Dollas, Yves Racine, were only Quebec-born players on that team. Anyway . . .

HOF and the rafters are whole-heartedly deserved in the next year.

A hard-working player, and team mate, and thinker who got "it" . . . and by all accounts, the epitome of dignity and class and in a world often devoid of even a semblance of those characteristics . . .I dare say role model.

Thank you Mr. Bergeron!

Bergy also gives a lot of credit to Glenn Murray for helping him as a young player.

Lapointe's contract was well worth it imo.

I wondered that myself.
Thank you Mr. Bergeron!
My all-time favorite Bruin!

Crediting Tuukka with a Cup in his HOF argument is more than a bit disingenuous.
