This trade still pisses me off. Hornqvist was fiercely competitive and not afraid to hold people accountable, the team truly turned country club after he left.

While hornqvist did a mini bounceback after going to FLA, he was on the VERY edge of becoming a gigantic blackhole here and that contract was going to screw us badly very soon...

... 20/20 hindsight... Yeah sure we should have kept him around anyway, cause we didn't do any better without him nor use that money for any good, at all

Well two things were happening:

1) His contract was going to be brutal in the coming years
2) The team needed a scapegoat and Horny was an easy target

After every playoff loss there has to be a scapegoat since Sully can't ever be held accountable

1 Year it was Phil
Another year it was Horny
And another time it was Jarry
