Love the way he’s been playing. Seemed to get a boost when asked to be the grinder with skill guys.
He's still a relatively young player who had a down year last year.
He plays the game with pace and plays physical.
To me, at basically league minimum. he's a keeper for the 4th line.
Hey. Beat it. Stop bumping threads or we bump yer head. Got it? Ya fckn chump.80 of 82 games for the Senators last season. What kind of contract can he expect as a RFA?

Kelly's Qualifying Offer is $787,500. Does anyone know what he might get with Arbitration?I could see him signing for the minimum but on a two year deal, similar to what Zach MacEwen did but without Dorion adding that third year.
For someone like Kelly, the goal is to stay in the league, and the easiest way to do that is to be on a league minimum contract.
I could be wrong but I don't see Crookshank as a strong defensive player nor a PK player. For the longest time i have been going back and forth on who i like better between Parker and Crook. I started off leaning Parker, probably because i saw him first and admired his tasmanian devil approach. Then Crookshank seemed to take over in what i was thinking was more skill. I am back to uncertain again.
Yeah i havent really noticed it yet either. I was figuring Angus would need to carve out more of a production role on the 3rd line which may be a harder role to get in the churn with than Kelly in his role. Two spark plugs i love to cheer for thoughI could be wrong but I don't see Crookshank as a strong defensive player nor a PK player.
We need to sign or replace the following forwards next season:
1. Pinto - RFA
2. Kelly - RFA
3. Tarasenko - traded
4. Kubalik - UFA
5. Kastelic - Traded
Signing an RD at $6M AAV leaves minimum dollars to do so (about $6M).
Trading Forsberg at $2.75M could provide maybe $1.75M more.
