While I don't disagree about Thomas, people should be leaning more into Amit Elor as well. She's pretty marketable as well, great story, completely dominant.

The Russian skater tested positive for heart medication that was used to help aid training. The Russians claimed it was her grandfather who someone mixed it into food, but the levels of the test I don't think backed up a random 'one time' thing.
Although it's worth noting she was then suspended 4 years. *HALF* of the Chinese swim team for Tokyo tested positive for that same drug and were cleared with China claiming it was 'tainted meat'... Another 2 tested positive a year later (2022) and again 'tainted food' was used as an excuse and accepted.

Nope...needed to win that 4th set. Hey they finished 10th in 2020*, so a chance at the bronze this go-around isn't too bad.

Indoor cycling was on one of the channels earlier, that's the best. Speed skating but on a bike, those dudes fly
US women should be coming up soon in the team pursuit gold medal race against NZ. Such a cool event.
Edit: US gets gold. Kristin Faulkner gets her 2nd gold of the games. Chloe Dygert adds a gold to her bronze from the TT.

He's coached in Arkansas by US gold medalist Ryan Crouser who once did both discus & shot put before just focusing on shot put and is an assistant track and field coaching those disciplines at Arkansas.

Chari Hawkins failed on all of her high jump attempts at 1.71m and so her Olympic heptathlon is effectively over after two events. Her PB is 1.85m so this pretty shocking.
