Frankie Fredericks. What a monster.

Now that man was consistent aha. Basically top 3 at every event he ever entered. He just ran sub-10 on command.

And did it for so long... like 1991 to 2004.

I swear that was just the speed his body naturally went. No need to work hard to get it up there. Easy to maintain that level

I also read that some experts think, based on our understanding of the physics of the human body (and the limits thereof) Bolt might actually, truly, almost be the fastest a human could possibly be. Like scientifically.

In other words, for the video game people, Bolt literally set TAS records

At least until GATTACA DNA manipulation kicks in.

I follow Anastasija Samoilova on IG now.

Japan almost beat Italy 3-0 in volleyball, but couldn't close out the 3rd set and ended up losing in five.

I’m watching the mens’ and womens’ team sprint in the velodrome and I’ve seen the women’s WR broken 3 times in about 10 minutes. First Germany, then NZ, then UK.

The swedish pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis cleared his attempts by a massive amount and looked like he didn't even think he was great on it. Looks like it's his event to lose.
