I think the announcers have created a generation of biased fans. In my 30 years watching hockey I have never heard homers as bad as the Bruins' commentators.

It's actually a bit unsettling that these guys are the voice of Bruins hockey.

You must never have heard the Penguins, Tampa, NYR from years ago, NYI from years ago, Hartford/Carolina, etc.

People are acting like Brown is a goon with a history similar to Colton Orr. The guy weighs about 165 pounds and has had maybe two fights in his career.

Still jumped a star player who is a total non-fighter. Pretty cowardly move when there are plenty of Bruins who oblige if he wanted a fight.

Hell he gets a free W if he just goes after Campbell.

Just to clarify this incedent. Chara boarded one of our guys. When the bruins touched it paquette gave him a bump and said "watch it (you can read his lips on the replay)." Chara proceeds to do his "how dare you touch me!!!" routine and give him a hard cross check. Paq shoves him back and Chara punches him in the teeth.

He jumped the "star player" who just cross checked him in the face. Who else should he jump?

Jack edwards is on another level though.

Im a big bruins fan and he's been extra brutal this year. When the team had its real slump (that they seem to be coming out of the last few games) I couldnt take it.

It's like tolerable as a fan when the teams winning but during a slump its brutal.

Even funnier that he had already said no to McQuaid (who didn't deem it necessary to jump him) and turned around and jumped Krejci.

Im sorry I thought this is hockey? Where you should be prepared to fight. Star player or not, you play a rough and tumble game, you should be prepared to fight.

You are right, I have never, ever heard another announcer get as excited about an opposition goal. Edwards gets excited about hockey but it isn't just the Bruins. Just listen to the way he talks about Stankos, you would figure he was a Bruin.

'Pac' initiates. Then crosschecks. Then punches. Each comes before Chara response.

Now he taunts Krejci and again poops himself facing McQuaid.

Thank God we have all of our games vs Tampa still, they are asking for a beating. Hopefully the Bruins oblige next game. :)

So Paquette started it. Again not sure what the thought process was on his part. Seemed pretty stupid to try to start anything with Chara

Hell baby
Paquette is such a nancy HAHAHAHAHA

HILARIOUS

What a turd. Stand over Krejci like that after hitting him and then being terrified of McQuaid. Typical.

Umm nobody? It was a good battle in front of the net and he gave Krejci some business and got some back it happens all the time.

If that had been Lucic and Stamkos I cant even imagine the 'WAHH' factor that would be going on right now.

Chara was trying to fight Pacquette but the linesmen saved him lmao God Pacquette didnt even try to defend himself and chara was ready to go nuts on him.

Then what's the problem with Paquette getting dropped?

There isn't, I agreed it was a stupid call by the refs. Chara shouldn't have been called for nothing. Even the initial boarding call he was going to get.
