Carolina shouldnt fighten anyone come playoff time. There soft as butter

Tkachuk runs over there leading scorer 2 times they do nothing

I think the Canes are a good team. Both teams played well, IMO. The difference in the game today was that Spencer Martin is a 97th string goaltender.

Ekky with another solid play on the side of the net getting his skates in the way to block that no look pass attempt.

Samo with a very solid game. Down the line I could see him take Stonehands spot
Stinkblad was resting on the side of the net and his skates just got in the way while he reached for his personal oxygen bottle

Canes are a good team but they cheat quickly on offensive breakouts with their guys hanging by the redline waiting for the long pass… which is okay if your D is great at passing and your G can save your ass if you lose the puck, which is where they failed today.

I mean, fair to say they didn't respond to Tkachuk goign hard on Necas, but at that point they were losing in the third period. They played to try to tie the scoreboard, I respect that.

I think they will be VERY feisty tomorrow, especially if they have a lead.

Good on Chucky going after Necas all game long.

That’s cool I guess but I’d be at the rink all day too if I was allowed to. I have to pay $22 for an hour of sticky and usually there are at least 15 other cats out there.
Sucks that nobody wants to pay old guys millions to play.

That sternum may finally be back to "100%", a physical goading Tkachuk is arguably a top 5ish winger in the game.

As for Bennett, he NEEDS to be re-signed, he makes a lot of things happen that blend and make the 2nd line stir.
His silly OZ penalties are worth the playoff upside.

Knight likely gets another start, Maurice better get him close to 35 or more games this year, Zito has a big decision this July in net for the now and the future.

When do we find out what the cap will be for next season?

The salary cap announcement for the 2024-25 season was made on June 8, 2024, so it’ll probably be around the same time next year. But Bettman already mentioned that the projected cap for 2025-26 is $92.5 million.

I've heard some numbers a fair bit higher than that being tossed around in the 97m ball park.
