Calling the Oiler fans dumb, obnoxious, worst fanbase in the NHL, and morally bankrupt(because apparently all of us defended the Skinner’ threats) is different. Trolling us by starting threads “will you lose respect for McDavid if he joins Florida” is also in bad taste.

they were a good team, who beat other good teams this playoff run....I dont recall you predicting they'd roll over the "bad" Western Conference at any point

I am beginning to think that by beating the Oilers twice in a row in the SCF, Florida also mentally broke some of their fans in a way that is unusual for even the Stanley Cup.

Absolutely none of the Florida fans acted this way after Vegas beat them for the Cup. Not a single one. I can't even recall a SCF that resulted in so much bitter salt from parts of a fan base.

It is just entertainment. If you think there is a big conspiracy, or it is garbage, or whatever, then you really need to just go watch something else and of course quit participating in a discussion board on the subject. Life is way too short.
