Not remotely funny. That situation happens routinely where a roster has bad mix of forwards and GM makes a mistake. What's worse is several other teams not paying the same cost that Florida did. That's Bettman's artificially low salary cap system to prop up low revenue reams. This must stop.

The way the fans have acted though, openly attacking Oiler fans on these boards, can’t happen. Two things can be true, the franchise deserves it, and the way the players and fans are celebrating is classless.

All fanbases have classless people, especially when their team wins the championship. I saw plenty of Oilers fans on here say rude things to others.

I think Panthers fans are nowhere near as bad as the Leafs fans on here, but at least we all know they will go quiet by mid-May.

Did you read the thread after Gm 1? They all acted like they were royalty, and we were all their loyal subjects. The shit talking from winning Gm 1 blew up the thread, only to be silenced by Gm 6. You know what didn’t stop though? The people posting nonsense sbout irrelevant things, asking condescending remarks and the fans and location, and acting as if they were knowledgeable about the topic at hand, when they couldn’t be more wrong or ignorant.

If they came from Jupiter, flew down here and won and then flew back to Jupiter and we never saw them again, they still won and there is nothing anybody can do about it.
