Post-Game Talk: Panthers trade for Marchand, inherit Bostons choking ability lose 3-2.

OK, I watched the first two periods thinking it was a dull game but hey, we were up 2-0 so should be fine going to bed. And then woke up to this. Sounds like it's not even worth watching the highlights...

Let's hope they turn up for Toronto on Thursday - I was enjoying the winning.

They may be good right now, but they're still the Florida Panthers™.

The last time I was let down this hard was when I was watching PornHub and my internet went down when the bad guy was getting what he deserved.

That was 100% an unexpected result, it was a team loss.
You guys think I am exaggerating, but he bad guy was chasing her with a meat knife.

It’s this or next season that has the best chance

Tampa will be weaker next season, but I highly doubt the Metro will ever be this bad again

Idk about that. This is really the year for Toronto, or they'll never win it. Marner is walking, it's obvious. He's not even given an indication that he's wanted to talk contract all season. It's why they tried to flip him for Rantanen . And Tavares will be a year older, into his mid-30's with slow skating. They're done. Tampa could hang around, it depends how long Hedman and McDonagh hang on. They'll fall off eventually, but they haven't yet. Ottawa is a decent team, but they need big steps to get to true contender status. Montreal is even further behind Ottawa. Detroit looks like a mid team for another few years, unless Yzerman pulls rabbits out his butt in free agency. Bruins are re-tooling. Buffalo is... Buffalo until proven otherwise. Devils will be back next season, but they still have holes. Canes are worse, they have a great farm and tons of picks, but they need to utilize those for help now. Rangers are a bubble team to me unless they show that they're contenders again. They made a lot of changes. Islanders are mid to bad. Columbus is decent, but not a contender until all those kids really grow into men and start dominating. Not even gonna discuss the Penslnsylvania teams. Washington is strong, but will they even be as good next season?

To me , it looks like the East is wide open for Florida for the next few years, or as wide open as it could be. Washington, Tampa could prove difficult, with potential for Toronto if the Leafs win a few rounds this year and Marner re-signs.
