If there were ever a bet "Will Stamkos score one-timer goal against Panthers" you'd be a rich man if you had played that during his career

Whats nuts is, money is coming off the books, the cap is going up, and Zito will have money, and more importantly, 1st round picks, to play with over the next few years. It is ridiculous what he has been able to do with our forward group, and getting the core locked up at such stupid deals. If they were Leafs players, our core forward groupd would be making more than the cap already.

Sorry bout being MIA....I have so much shit going on right now with work, personal life, etc. All is well. Will be in NY for Christmas and New Years with the wife. Would have been nice if they were there playing.

Ill make sure to make another person admin on the fantasy football league, so I dont screw the pooch next season.

Somebody has to take a piss in the cereals

The D core is old. That needs some long term plans. Cant keep filling it via UFA

Not hating on Bruno, but that was an embarrassing display of coaching.

Reel your team in, your team is struggling and you want to address your bad blood

Man does not know how to make adjustments or any changes when you need them.

I was called an idiot for wanting him gone

Oh most definitely, but Zito will have the ammunition to makes those changes/upgrades. The team is definitely not complete, but given the way the salaries have lined up, they will have all chances to go after pretty much who they want.

Barkov looks even more incredible this season. He is flying out there and is serving up the puck like warm butter with no look passes across the rink to our snipers. Its criminal.

Idk how all these guys are in even better shape than last season after that summer. I'm calling it, the most dedicated group of athletes in sports history. Come at me bro .

Yeah, I don't feel spoiled....

When I first started watching as a kid, I recall seeing my first draft where we selected Mike Brown (1997). I wondered for years if he was still developing and when he would make the team lmao.

I was a simple lad.

He actually got traded in the Pavel Bure deal the next year. But yeah, you never heard of him because he was another Panthers first round bust. He was supposed to be our answer to Eric Lindros. Chris Wells, who we traded a very productive Stu Barnes for, was another big center that was supposed to combat Lindros. That trade was in 1999. Just a ridiculous couple trades by Murray after a solid first few years on the job. He'd make a few great moves after that, but most of his later tenure was terrible.

Victor Koslov was so much wasted potential. Had all of the talent in the world. But stayed outside on the perimeter and floated his ass off.

It only took a few more tries and a few more years until we managed to draft our big center to be our answer to Lindros, Barkov.

You guys forced me to use this old tidbit. Some of you will remember this...

Ivan Novoseltsev

First practice. GM Bryan Murray see him skating and tells the media "there goes our first 50 goal scorer"

--

Panthers front office seriously thought Chris Wells will be the next Eric Lindros

Novo might have been a 30 goal scorer if he could stop.
