OT: Panthers Lounge the Sixth - We Talk About Games & Stuff

So here's my story.

Girlfriend took off of work today to go to the Ice Den practice with me. We get there at 10 to hopefully see Huby. A few other fans show up but no media or anything. An employee comes by and tells us he doesn't think they're gonna show up today. So I tweet out to GR and others and am informed practice is at the arena. My girlfriend is disappointed but I tell her it happens that diff gets changed. I took to Twitter to ask about tomorrow's practice which is also on their website scheduled at Ice Den for tomorrow. Asked Cifu who tagged the Pr director. She says no practice tomorrow it's an off day.

So just to inform them, not to complain or anything, I posted a screenshot of that practice schedule. Cifu replies asking if there's any way the PR lady can get me into tomorrow's practice. She says no practice tomorrow but I can go TODAY! So me and my girlfriend jump in the car and get from Springs to BBT in 9 minutes. We're the only fans in the arena to watch practice. Scored a Barkov autograph and a few pucks.

This organization is awesome. I've been a sports fan a long time and have never seen anyone go out of their way for fans as much as Cifu. Great guy

Needs to do more of that to get some positive vibes back with the STHs.
 
I saw that on Twitter. Didn't know that was you, but that's awesome man! Cifu's a very terrific guy and I've spoken to him at games and at PanthersPalooza quite a few times. Hell, he even bought all of us Panthers fans drinks at an arena bar in Tampa last season. He really wants this team to succeed for us fans that have stuck with the Panthers for two decades. He's more upset with how this season has gone with high expectations as much as anyone. It's why I have faith as long as he's our owner that we will succeed to win a Stanley Cup someday.
 
Beat FFXV the other day. Overall it was pretty fun but not without its flaws. I'd give it a 7.5/10.

Started playing The Last of Us today. My god is this game boring. All I've seen is positive reviews and a few buddies telling me how great it is. 2+ hours in and I'm ready to throw in the towel.

I just watched my GF play through an entire day of the Chocobo/Moogle Fair thingy on FFXV. I can't say that it's my kind of game but it's pretty. I'm going to pick up Battlefield Bad Company 2 next. I saw that was made backwards compatible on xbone. That was my favorite Battlefield game in the series.
 
I'm copying and pasting this from reddit about the south florida premiere of Ice Guardians. The movie looks great and I've wanted to see it since I saw the trailer. Hopefully the sell enough tickets to show it since I'm planning on attending. Hope some of you guys can go!

Zelda is AMAZING. It's definitely a generational game.

Another worthwile Switch title is FastRMX on the online store. It's a spiritual successor to F-Zero.

Everything else is garb. Bomberman is a dissappointment.

I am too! I barely use my xbone though. or wii U or 3DS or vita (I think i have a problem lol)

I was looking forward to bomberman but I keep hearing that. What's your PSN name?
