He’s never in that position because the teams they’ve played haven’t made brain dead defensive plays like that with him. Using evidence that afloridas most talented player can score when left completely alone makes zero sense.

Didn’t think I would ever type this…. But Slavin has had waaaaay more turnovers, failure to get deep or just muffed passes or clears of the puck in this game and last than I can remember seeing in an entire season of watching him…. No idea why but wow he has looked very human at times…. Not sure if he is afraid of getting hit late or what but it’s noticeable and I very rarely notice him for these kinds of plays…

I kid, partly. I think he‘s better tonight, and is being targeted heavily.

I still believe he’ll be fine and maintain a steady presence for the D group.
