Post-Game Talk: Panthers choke away 2-0 lead, lose 4-2 to NYI

I think Ekblad is better for the top-pair than Jones is, especially while Jones is learning the system. I think he will be a little better once Ekblad is back and he gets use to the system. (And Ekblad stops role playing as Roidblad)

No Tkachuk hurts but we’re lucky to have strong forward depth, and we’ll hopefully have Marchand in the lineup in the regular season to get use to things.

We won't have a complete roster until game 3 round 1, and who knows what injuries we'll have to deal with by then. These guys will need to figure it out without a 100% roster and get to game 3 at least 1-1 in the series. If we don't then it's going to be tough going. Ekblad is such an idiot.

Panarin wouldn’t have gotten that team anywhere close to the cup. Hindsight and all, but having that contract likely keeps us from getting Reinhart, Chucky, etc
