Honestly, he's found his scoring touch again and his playmaking ability seems to have reentered his body, and it's badly needed right now. Credit where it's due, he looks rejuvenated from being put on the first power play unit.

Maurice is known as a coach who doesn't like to play rookies (this was a concern I had about him when we hired him) and will give vets a lot of rope. He seems to trust Samoskevich, which is a great sign.
