Sad to see Travis go but on the other hand I think it's good that they are not wedded to him next season - he will be 36 and despite him having a scoring resurgence over the last month, there's a lot that's concerning in his game. He'll do fine as an Islander.

The two guys the Devils got back are just reserve list bodies, I doubt either one is here longer than this season unless Jobst is under contract for 2021-22.

Brian Boyle got 2's at the deadline lol, the only thing hindering Zajac's value was the fact he'd probably only waive his NTC for the Isles. But teams love guys like that at the deadline in a vaccum.

Definitely sorry we moved these guys for a pick. First who cares. I hoped we would use the assets to get a real player. We have too many picks. We've had too many of them.

Maybe Fitz will package a bunch of them for someone live and kicking right now. If not, I agree, the last thing we need is more promising adolescents year after year.
