Time as a GM is startin' to get sweaty.
The Palm Trees are startin' to get heavy. There's vomit on his shirt already, mom's spaghetti.

Him and Pegula are both nervous.
But on the surface he looks calm and ready but the team bombs and Kevyn on forgettin' what he wrote down. They start banning stuff and now they look like clowns. He sucks as a GM, the whole team is going down... under his jurisdiction, this shit is stranger than fiction. The predictions in and he's on a mission to tear it down, shits' heading south... he opens his mouth but weak shit is just coming out.

Can't someone start rescuing Buffalo Sabres now? Another year with Pegula and Adams, wow. The fans dreams slowly starts to die out now.

Just like an inflatable Palm Tree, they start up high just to slowly decrease into something so obscene. Shit is starting to look like a f***ing crime scene. Pegula and Adams are not a dream team. My uncle was neighbors with him for several years back in 08-12. He was a good guy, and I think he still is. Unfortunately, I think he just isn't equipped for the deep challenges of the GM role. If you have a great team and you need to continue to sign them to deals and keep the lights on, he probably can be decent enough. You want to improve your roster via tough decisions? I dont see him being able to do it

Kevyn Adams is a really nice guy - he was able to do the easy part of the job (suck + defer to your team to draft) he cannot get the hard part done.

its all out of the corporate damage control playbook:

1. Instruct all ushers to confiscate palm trees if not deflated and hidden from sight

2. fans spread word that palm trees won’t be allowed and largely stop bringing them

3. team releases statement claiming palm trees actually are allowed, gaslighting their own fans by pretending like it was all a misunderstanding

4. Team waits until 3 game win streak, then leans into and co-opts the movement by giving away palm tree hand towels/t shirts. Adds their own catchphrase/slogan in an attempt to seize control of the narrative and divorce it from the original “Fire Adams” contextualization
