From reading some articles, the WWE isn't suspending people for that unless its synthetic. They're just fining.

And I doubt that the WWE would release a statement with the atomic bomb phrase "illegal substances" unless it was "illegal substances", because if it was something banal like a perscription that they didn't like, they'd be opening themselves up to a lawsuit by Paige.

I would imagine that there are some painkillers that are legal in the UK but have not been FDA approved.

If that's the case, then the seeming incongruity between Paige insisting she had a prescription (from the UK) for a painkiller the WWE deemed illegal (because it's a particular painkiller that is not FDA approved).

It wouldn't surprise me if WWE did something just to punish her further but legally I don't think they could really do much in court over it.

Given how Paige is, this isn't really surprising. She doesn't seem the type that handles conflict and responsibilities very well but it's her life to live.
