Value of: Pageau to ANA

Before the season started I would have moved him but not now, no point.

Fowler for Pageau + Reilly + would almost be a cap neutral trade.

The entire islanders fan base has been calling to move Pageau for 2 years, but they put him on Horvat's wing with Barzal out and he's actually looked really great there. If it continues to work there's a world where they leave him there, and basically run out 3 2nd lines centered by Horvat, Nelson and Barzal.

That being said, I personally make that trade knowing that Pelech is made of glass. Gives you one of the more solid blue lines in the league while they're all healthy

Honestly, if the Ducks added Pageau they'd need to make room in the forward group. I imagine it would look more Pageau for Lundestrom.

He’s been solid this whole year to me, but the whole point of moving him was in anticipation of free agency and adding a scoring winger. Usually a big add with assets for one too and at the time not signing Duclair and using his money too. Now I just don’t see the point in season.

Lundestrom is currently our best faceoff man (unfortunately). I think Leason would make more sense as a piece in a hypothetical deal.

I'd they did that, I'd be ecstatic. But on the same note we would be getting him to play center, imo he shouldn't be replacing Leo, Z and McT if they're bent on keeping them all at center. We know Z is massively more effective there.

I would be fine with him playing wing at even strength (and taking some faceoffs depending on the situation) and playing center on special teams (mainly PK).
