Sabres - none. Not that he isn't a fine player, but his single year term and the likely cost in assets to acquire, combined with his age make him a terrible fit.

Philly: option B. We aren't paying the price being asked on these forums.

Yeah I can see Hextall maybe having some interest there. Pacioretty does fill a need for Philly.

That said, he’ll be turning 30 this year and he’s coming off a bad year. He also only has 1 year until UFA. His value is pretty low right now I’d imagine.

I might bite at the 19th for him, but I wouldn’t do much more than that.

Right. I'd love to push Lindblom down to 3LW, but paying a first for a rental when our most dire need - a goalie - isnt going to be fulfilled, and will ultimately hold us back until Hart is ready, just makes little sense.

That said, I value Max highly. But it's just not a great fit for us right now.

This is exactly my suggestion from a post I had yesterday.

Let opposing team fans out-deal each other with the lowest offers. :sarcasm:

Will be 30, had a down year, and only has one year left on his deal. Might as well save him until the trade deadline he probably will have more value then....see Tatar.

MaxPac certainly has a better track record than Tatar, but Tatar's value came in the term left on his deal and his age. He wouldn't have fetched nearly that as a 30 year old rental.

Not a bad fit, but I agree there are better options out there if we’re looking to move a pick. If Hextall is looking for a scoring winger (which he says he is) I’d much rather he go after Hoffman, Stone or Skinner.

Judging by this thread, Habs should start working on an extension July 1st.

He seems to want to stay so not sure why he's being pushed out anyway. Just trade a different winger
