Its going to be fun when Patches starts coasting again and he's the worst player on the planet

Two weeks back, Galchenyuk was the best forward by far for 40 games, now Patches goes on a scoring rampage and he's suddenly the next Gretzky  Freaking Habs fan.

Habs fans have been praising Pacioretty all season. The guy came into this season a more complete forward. I haven't seen many Habs fan get on his case this season. Most people have been picking him as the next captain.

He played like Michael Freaking Ryder earlier this season, take off the rose colored glasses.

Yes, you should definitely take them off. Finding open spaces on the ice in order to score means he floats? Stamkos and Seguin are 2 of the biggest floaters I've seen then. Also I love Galchenyuk but he was never our best forward. Plekanec was hot for about 10 games so he and Galchenyuk racked up some pts then Pacioretty took over with Desharnais as his center.

Tonight was the first time since December 12, 2014 he was a minus (because of the empty net goal). The guy backchecks faster than anyone on the team. Just because of his speed and size, I would rank him ahead of Plekanec in defensive play if he keeps it up until the end of the season.

He's been underwhelming in the playoffs so far in his career. I think it's just a matter of adjustment. I'm positive he'll start banging them in this year's playoffs.

He's like other scorers, very streaky. But this year he's not only scoring, he's becoming an all around great player. He's a legitimate superstar with the best contract in the league.

He did score two series winning goals last year didnt he?

Very streaky, but usually it seems in the second half of the season, he's usually more on than off. Also probably the most underrated goal scorer in the league. Glad to have him .
