Not an all star. Fourth in goals last year and missing enough games to be on pace for second.

Pacioretty is a kind of guy who can win you a playoff series, doing significant damage by himself.

Kind of like Cammalleri v/s Pens in 2010 series.

Pavelski had more goals last year and has more this year. He's also not an all star. All star selections don't really mean anything. At least for the Habs they picked their best player. SJ has Burns going.

He's been underwhelming in the playoffs so far in his career. I think it's just a matter of adjustment. I'm positive he'll start banging them in this year's playoffs.

He's like other scorers, very streaky. But this year he's not only scoring, he's becoming an all around great player. He's a legitimate superstar with the best contract in the league.

60 goals in last 116 games. Been pretty consistent last 2 seasons as a scorer..

Don't think this achievement is thread worthy. But I think Max's play the last two years deserves a thread. He's becoming a top 5 winger in the NHL. I don't watch Montreal that much, but he doesn't seem to play too psychical for a big guy, correct me if I'm wrong. But he's got wheels for a big guy.

he is very fast, but since the chara hit, he has changed his game. he's not as physical as before, doesn't go hard to the net the way he used to, but he has worked on his two-way to the point where he is now a staple on the PK. but he's scoring a lot of goals so who am i to complain right?

Like MasterDecoy said... He used to be a really physical player. I don't think it's the Chara hit that changed him, he seemed to lose his edge in 2012-2013. He was a beast in 2011. Seems to be a case of settling down vs trying to make the league.

He may be less physical, but his 2-way game has reached levels I never would have imagined. I think he will finally hit 40 this year, maybe even 45.

Thats for sure. I would still rather have him play like he can while playing good 2-way and scoring goals. Now he floats a lot when he's not scoring.

He's become everything Habs management wanted him to become and then some.

He produces goals no matter who he plays with. He's carried the team's offence this season and thats also taking consideration he faces the opposing team's best defence men all the time. He's the only real offensive threat on the wing for MTL so e gets keyed in on ALOT. His defensive game is probably the strongest on the team after Plekanec. He's also become a leader and is most likely the next captain. I think he doesn't get nearly enough national attention and coverage. His contract is a steal and he's made his way to becoming one of the best wingers in the game. Only 26 years old to boot.
