Perfect storm. Kings are playing a bit better than they have been in previous seasons and the Oil are playing a bit worse. Think the Kings can pull it off this time

I'm still feeling good about this for the Oilers. The team's depth has proved itself with a good stretch of play before that game last night.

There are players coming back from injury, and imo they aren't going to have much rust. The time off will give them more energy.

Ekholm gone is the one concern I have. Still, I really liked Walman and Nurse's games this year. This should cover the loss

There's a generation of young LA fans that despise the Oilers as much as I used to despise the Stars, and I find that beautiful.

Sadly, unless McDraiChard go supernova again, I think those young fans might get their dragon slaying moment this year. My oilers are beat up, older and our goaltending is cheeks.

That said, I pick the Oilers in 7, hoping to whatever God exists that those three do go off again.

I think the Oilers can overcome his absence to win a round, but I don’t see how they manage to go deep without him. He’s their best d-man by some margin.

All those guys will play except Ekholm. Of course big question marks on the effectiveness of Kane and to a lesser extent Frederic.
