Value of: P.K. Subban at or before the TDL

He will be available and I'm sure he will be open to going to a playoff bound team. Subban has 2 goals and 13 assists (15 points) in 43 games this season so far. He is a -5 if that means anything to anyone but take into consideration the Devils as a team are- 40. Despite what some of these poster's on here will tell you , Subban still can be a good addition. He would be a good add to a team who wants to round out their 3rd D pair and maybe play him on the 2nd PP unit. The Devils can retain plenty of salary in the trade. Just curious as to what teams are looking to acquire a RHD to play a bottom 4 role on their team.

This isn't any different that the last PK Subban thread and I don't expect people to have changed their minds in the last week.
Everyone else thinks he has no value, Devil fans think he has some value but not much.

I would expect Fitz will find a new home for Subban, but I doubt the return is anything more than a bad contract and a draft pick

He just played his 800th NHL game and half of the Devils current players reposted his Instagram posts. From what I've seen with the Devils his teammates like him alot , I can't say the same for his time on the Habs but that was alot a few years ago already. You are also forgetting NHL GM's exist and they make moves regardless of what the fans or poster's on here agree with...

PK Subban obviously has value. Especially with retention. Now the market seems to have good defenseman already so IF he gets traded its mote likely after some of the bigger names either gets traded or trades fall apart and then Subban is a good option for teams looking for a vet D with offensive qualities.

As for why he'd be useful to a contender, it's quite simple.... on most of them he'd be an improvement on their bottom 4.
He has playoff experience
He is a RHS
Plus the Devils would be willing to eat 50% and take a contract back.

I have provided receipts for why a contender/playoff team would want him, now provide receipts for your allegations about him being a bad teammate

PK still has some value, but that contract pulls it down like an anchor. Gonna require retention to move him IMO.
