Not saying you're not spot on with this, but wtf does that say about our talent evaluation? I mean we need centers, Trotz talks about getting centers, and yet we can't figure out how to get a young natural center in the lineup and just dump him after minimizing his value. Paint it turquoise and call it a marble. That's just plain nuts.

Trotz: "We need centers!"

Fans: "What about Pärssinen, Novak, or Svechkov?"

Trotz: "No! Not those centers!"

Took a break from paying attention to the team for the holidays. Seems like I should keep taking that break. Predictable that we'd jettison him for nothing, but just another nail in the coffin.
