Michigan stinks without him on the ice.

Power turns Michigan from a middle of the road team, to a frozen four team.

Also, Beniers is JAG out there.

If Michigan wins Saturday the 9th, GMKA should be disguised in their locker room after the game, and hand him his ELC to sign.

Not…at all true

7-1-1 in his absence.

Beniers is awesome out there. He’s highly skilled and plays a great, high motor possession game.

Honestly, Power is awesome, but Michigan is still probably in the frozen four without him. Now Portillo, I don’t think so. He’s the only irreplaceable player on the team.

Agreed - they didn't miss Power as much as they would miss Portillo.

That team was not winning yesterday without Power.

The dude was a plus 4 while the team around him was a joke.

So, no they would not be in the frozen four without him.

What if they replaced Portillo with Levi?

Not exactly shocking news, but...

Damn, I thought he was staying another year in Michigan and Adams is already in a panic looking for a trade.

He's going to walk himself to UFA so he can sign with the Leafs, just ask their fans, or a bunch of the other troll fans who were saying that when he opted to return to Michigan for another year.
I think Kerfoot, Engvall and 2nd fair cost

I wonder what boost in attendance power will give. Teams playing pretty well but seems like it might take some of these guys to really boost it

Not really sure given that he's a Dman. I just hope people don't get their hopes too high expecting a Cale Makar type of player. He'll be in good hands with Granato though, and get developed gradually I think. Hopefully he doesn't have to deal with the rollercoaster ride Dahlin went through for his first few years.

The advantage he has coming in though is that Dahlin will be ahead of him in the lineup, having arrived at long last and being dominant vs. how Ristolainen was struggling as the #1D when Dahlin arrived. Also doesn't hurt that Samuelsson is around for those defensive zone/shutdown matchups too. It seems like he should be in a position to succeed and get settled without immediately having to be "the guy".
