Especially when we hear BS things like pressure. It's definitely something I've changed my mind on.
While I don't mind a cap of some sort (it could be approached differently like a luxury tax ect)
But at this point it's impossible to deny that quite warm weather US markets have an absolutely massive imbalance.
Toronto at least as a bigger city as a bit of a draw - but it comes with poor weather, massive pressure, Canadian taxes. It's insanely frustrating to listen to smug fans from other markets brag about their sweet deals on contracts.
Something needs to change.
Like ya, the fans don't give as much as a shit in Florida when like 2 yrs ago you could get a pair of season tickets, 2 jerseys, free parking and 10% off concessions for $600.
Meanwhile if you want to get tickets in Toronto you are looking at like $300 to sit in the nosebleeds.
Ya there's no pressure alright. No one is paying anything to be there.
