He probably plays out his contract next year. Goes on his retirement tour and then plays in the KHL in 2026-27. Both him and Crosby leaving while still being elite would be pretty cool

Like Pavel Datsyuk & Jaromir Jagr, he wants to finish his hockey career with his original team in his home country. That would be Dynamo Moskva.

He wants to play there and still have something left.
