Man I love this player
I think it got broken a few weeks ago, her "shtick" was that the Senators won 3-0 or something and they failed to repeat on that. Hopefully she can find solace in mainstream media, where expectations are low and praise is high.Does that break Kenzie Lalonde's Ottawa win streak?

If he does it on March 23rd it will be pure symmetry, since that was the day that Gretzky broke Howe's record in 1994.He will break the record this season. Likely sometime in late March. He will get at least a couple hat tricks to speed it up.
Sadly, they don't play that day. BooooIf he does it on March 23rd it will be pure symmetry, since that was the day that Gretzky broke Howe's record in 1994.

Thrashers wasn't his easiest opponent. If he played in Western Central, Ovi would beat the record long ago:Kari Lehtonen is still 3rd on that list despite being out of the league for 7 years and out of the Eastern Conference for 16 years. Almost all of those goals would've had to come in Ovie's first 4 seasons. Really shows how much he dominated Atlanta at the start of his career.
pretty sure the Mayans predicted thisThere is symmetry actually!
1963: Gordie Howe breaks Maurice Richard’s all-time goal scoring record.
1994 (31 years later): Wayne Gretzky breaks Gordie Howe’s all-time goal scoring record.
2025 (31 years later): If all goes well, Alex Ovechkin breaks Wayne Gretzky’s all-time goal scoring record.
If the 31 year cycle continues, this record would be broken again in 2056!
Those numbers are all absurd haha prime/peak Ovi was truly something elseTrashers wasn't his easiest opponent. If he played in Western Central, Ovi would beat the record long ago:

I think if you have a record broken once a generation by a player then that player is a generational player. There is symmetry actually!

Which means the player to keep the cycle is still at least a decade away from joining the league. There is symmetry actually!

Dubnyk seems high on the list for the teams he was on.Kari Lehtonen is still 3rd on that list despite being out of the league for 7 years and out of the Eastern Conference for 16 years.
