The only thing i care about with Ovi now is that he takes the record if its this season or the next does not matter we know he will. This was very sad i hope he will be back soon. I told my friend before this season that players like Ovi, Malkin and Crosby are to old now to win the Art or Rocket , but my god i startet to belive that Ovi could actually win the rocket he has been amazing looks like he is newborn again. A setback for the russian machine but hey its Ovi I won't be surprised if he comes back sooner than most people think. We will know more after tomorow. It he is back in a couple of weeks i still think he cant take the record this season. All the best to you Ovi get well the hockey world is already missing you

The last game of the regular season is in Pittsburgh. Imagine Ovechkin scoring goal 41 and goal 42 in order to tie and break Gretzky's record while eliminating a super hot Penguins team from making the playoffs. Then Ovechkin and Gretzky will skate around the rink to a standing ovation from the Pittsburgh crowd. A crowd that includes daver, wetcoast and empoleon8771. Now that's got to be worth more than 1 Stanley cup win!
The most unlikely thing of this is the Penguins making the play-offs.

I hope Ovi gets back at it soon. I want him to break the goal record this year. It's unlikely we will ever see someone break this record again during our lifetimes - it is a special opportunity.
I’d say am34 has the potential too but depends on injuries and how he adapts his game as he ages like OV after 2012

… does Tom Wilson know what “sitting at work, not getting shit done” means? I love the sentiment right now, because Ovie being hurt while on this start at 39 years old is criminal… but you don’t sit at a computer for 8 hours a day staring at the clock, bud. You’re either skating, watching tape, hitting weights, getting a massage or taking an ice bath. I don’t think “sitting at work, not getting shit done” CAN apply.

You do realize that’s not actually the real Tom Wilson, right?

Good news is he will get the best treatment. After a couple days immediate rehab, soft tissue work, modalities, perhaps some peptides, etc and you may surprised how fast someone on who has a record on his mind comes back from a grade 1-2 MCL sprain.
