Yikes hoping it's nothing serious. He was putting together a special season. Like seeing the old guys playing well.

Please help me underhand then. I am using the following tool:Oh……my…….G……
I don’t even know ……..
Uhhh. They’ve spent that almost 15m already man. Their contracts are not relevant.
Come on…..
To paraphrase Yogi Berra, "no wonder nobody wants to live here. It is too crowded."The suburbs are lovely, with 7 of the 10 richest counties in the nation. Crime is low in the city as well. Other than traffic, what’s not to like?
Sounds like you’ve spent little to no time here.
Caps are already using Oshie and Backstroms money. They are on LTIR.Please help me underhand then. I am using the following tool:
2025-26 Washington Capitals Cap Table
The Washington Capitals 2025-26 salary cap table, including salary cap table, including team cap space, player cap hits, incentives, & bonus info.www.spotrac.com
This is for next season where 13 players, the core with the biggest contracts, is already locked in. So, are saying that the available cap space for next season has already been spent? But on whom?
Thanks for clarifying. It would have been nice to keep Chychrun.Caps are already using Oshie and Backstroms money. They are on LTIR.
Mangiapane is making 5.5m this year and probably can’t be re-signed because we need his money to give to Chychrun and whichever goalie wins the no.1 spot.
It’s going to be mostly the same team next year with a few young guys like Leonard replacing Mangiapane and some other minor changes. That is unless Chychrun priced himself out then there will be bigger changes.
A curse on you for even suggesting the possibility, jinxing us all: may your camels never bear young. That would really suck if he has an MCL tear; could be really tough to come back from at his age.
I don't suspect it's that bad....the contact looked like absolutely nothing at all....but you never know. The other good sign was that he pushed his entire weight up off the ice with that injured leg....obviously in discomfort in doing so and it gave out a bit, but if it's something serious, you'd expect that he can't even put any weight on it.This is the worst news I could have woke up to. Favorite player playing out of his mind, some idiot hits his leg from the side. That's definitely an MCL issue. The question is it sprained or torn.
I really hope OV can stay healthy. With only 26 to go it's just a matter of time. Even in the worst-case scenario, I feel like he could pretty easily put up another 26 at the age of 40. With the start he's had this season my mindset switched from, will he set the record to, just how far will be get? 900, 908, 925, 950... 1000?! Though I do think he lets off the gas heavily once he gets to 895, and some residual effort will push him beyond 900, but you never know!
