He hit shoulder and drove thru Evan’s body. There is head contact, but it is not the main point of contact…not even close.

No one said the puck was there, the hit was less than half a second after puck contact, and OV never changed his direction from when the puck was on his stick to when it left. It wasn't late, and I posted a video where body was the main/first point of contact.

Clean hit all day long.

If it's viewed as Ovechkin looking for this hit, it's very dirty and suspendable as interference. But my first impression is that Ovechkin was thinking entirely about the puck until the last moment and Evans was just in his way.

Head is the first thing that whips back. Not his core, not his legs. How is that not ''main point of contact''?
