Yeah, and “legal” high stick or not a guy just got his face opened up and can’t get up… that’s a play that should be blown dead. An injury caused by a stick to the face. Especially since the play is leading directly to a scoring chance for the “offender.” I’m going to have to look up that rule… it may have been called properly but then that’s a f***ed up rule.
It wasnt the glass that was the problem, it was Romanovs stick to his face. He fell into the glass after Romanov almost took out his eye.
I was meh on Doc. Great technical announcer, but his voice was super annoying though. Id pretty much spend the 1st period hoping he’d shut up but would be acclimated and enjoying his work for the remainder of the game. Hahaha.

Circling back to McDonough, he's so bad. The first couple of goal calls were atrocious. It sounded like he wasn't paying attention or the sun blinded his eyes and he couldn't see what was happening. It's actually inexcusable for a marquee event on national TV.

This is actually one of the things I find so frustrating about streaming. There should be team casts for the playoffs! It feels like this should be a legitimate draw of paying for ESPN+.
What do you guys think Dobson will get for a new deal ? I have been preaching to his friends that he should take the shortest deal he can to UFA even if it means less money and get out of there as they will suck for years and he will rot there and then having Roy there won't be any fun either especially if they lose a lot .
