that's not saying much  but yes it looks like Edmonton finally turned a corner. curious to see how they'll do against a real contender
They are the real contender.

Avs and Canes have too many injuries, Boston is a paper tiger and NJD is too young.

I guess theres Tampa and Vegas, unsure of whats their status, theyre old.

We saw what they could do last season this team is light years better IMO.

They picked up some good forward depth. They grabbed Kostin from St. Louis he's added size & 4th line grind, and Janmark. Then added Ekholm & Bjustad at TDL, and saw growth from young players like Bouchard, Skinner & Desharnais.

Plus, they're entire top 6 had career years.

You know, I have to say, I'm not much of a moar bigger guy, but watching the way these playoffs have started makes me think I might have to start changing my mind.

Holy moley there's a lot of smashing going on.

That Bouchard guy... is he d'chez nous? I mean he seems better than Barron or even Chris Wideman. Weren't we talking about getting him at some point? What it when Eddy was going to get some young talent?

When you realize you have to win sixteen of these it's critical to have some beef on the squad. Beef that can skate and play decent hockey.

Bouchard is from Oakville, Ontario.

He's definitely better than Wideman, but pretty much every defenseman in NHL is. Even many who are in AHL are better than Wideman.

Bouchard is 2 years older than Barron, and was soft as shit too at 20-21. Need to give Barron time.
